Long overdue pic of my cantry!

This feels so vulnerable to post for some reason? Lol

First off, I want to be CLEAR that not a single jar in these pics were processed out of a place of fear. I KNOW who holds tomorrow and I KNOW I am sealed with the promised Holy Spirit and nothing this world can do to my fleshly body can change my eternity with my savior, Jesus! 🙌🏻 and if you don’t know The One who holds tomorrow or where you’ll spend eternity, let’s talk!

I grew up watching my mamaw can and process vegetables they grew in their garden every summer so canning has always been normal to me. I truly enjoy canning and it’s so fulfilling to open a jar of food that I personally had a part in making whether I grew it myself or not! Plus, when I buy vegetables in season or grow them myself and can them, I’m not paying a higher price for an out of season vegetable.

Including a few pics of us processing some vegetables, too! Let me know if there’s something in these jars you want me to elaborate on! I tried multiple times to make a video of everything but if you know me, you know how awkward I am 🥴😂

Made taco soup for dinner last night and decided to triple the recipe and can the extra! I got 7 quarts! For whatever re...

Made taco soup for dinner last night and decided to triple the recipe and can the extra! I got 7 quarts! For whatever reason, the 2 jars in the front didn’t seal so I’ll put those in ziplock bags in the freezer and use those first.

That’s 7meals I don’t have to think about! maybe 5…it depends on if my husband is home or at work!

If you don’t have a canner, you can still prepare extra of your meals and just freeze. I always try to double or triple any casseroles I make and put them in the freezer for later also! Busy, unprepared me is always super thankful for the me that planned ahead and made extra weeks before!
