My mom is known for her Banana Sheet Cakes and her Chocolate Sheet Cakes, but she’s renowned, locally famous for her Christmas Divinity. It is a family staple in our home during December. Mom was taught the recipe from her mother, Bertha Benefield (1898-1968). It’s white, fluffy, and taste of Christmastime and home. Divinity has been part of Rocking Chair Bakery candy boxes during December.
