Happy Friday!!!

It feels SO weird to not be baking a ton today. 😅
I think I shared last month that I would be at the Cahaba Brewing Company Mother’s Day Event tomorrow, and I was very much looking forward to doing that event, but I ended up needing time during the month of May to focus on some other things, and I think I forgot to tell y’all I wouldn’t be there. 🙈

It’s been an overwhelming couple of months for The Little Bakery, LLC but things are finally starting to chill out and re-normalize, and I’m excited to be at two market locations for the rest of the Summer. ☺️
I’ll be in Vestavia Hills again in two weeks (May 21), and back in Helena in June. I’m really enjoying both of these new locations, and I hope you’ll come out and visit me at one (or both!) of them.
I hope to do another event at Cahaba soon, so we’ll see!! I’ll keep y’all posted on my schedule.

Please feel free to place orders any time! I’m not on vacation right now, just doing some necessary admin type stuff and spending some much-needed extra time with my family. 🥰

Jonathan (the best husband) had a Youngblood Ranch skirt steak in the freezer and asked me to make skirt steak with watermelon and red onion relish sometime this week, and “sometime this week” was TODAY. ❤️
It’s so simple, easy, and delicious!! One of the best Spring/Summer meals for sure!

Happy Wednesday!!! (Flash sale below!!)

We had a wonderful day at Vestavia Hills Farmers Market this morning and can’t wait to be back in two weeks. 😍
I got some great market goodies today! Continental Bakery baguette and galette, some yummy strawberries, and micro greens from My Greens )
And the “little bitty baker” had a GREAT time. I was so impressed with how much he helped me today. 🥰

Here’s what I’ve got left!

Sourdough bread:
1 large cinnamon raisin (16.00)
2 large 5 seed (16.00 each)

Cream cookies:
3 samplers (12.00 each)
2 pistachio lemon (5.00 each)
2 white chocolate strawberry with lemon cream (5.00 each)
3 browned butter chocolate chip cream (5.00 each)
4 oatmeal cream (5.00 each)

Let me know what you’d like! Pick up is in mccalla or I can meet up tomorrow. I wont be at another market until Wednesday, May 21, but feel free to place an order any time!

You guys… Continental Bakery is also here at Vestavia Hills Farmers Market today and this strawberry galette is SO yummy!! I bought strawberries this week to make some for myself and never did, so this is hitting that craving! 😍🥰

I LOVE continental. It was my first ever bakery experience as a child and I have loved it ever since. I might be in trouble being near them all Summer 🤣

PISTACHIO BUTTER HAS BEEN PROCURED!

I ran out of pistachio butter last week and was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get more before my next market, but rawdawg.life has come through and there won’t be a gap without your favorite poptart! 😍

I love using ingredients made or grown by local businesses and farms and the pistachio + apricot poptart features this delicious “smooth operator” pistachio butter from Rawdawg. This flavor has been a HUGE hit with everyone who’s tried it and I’m so glad!! Definitely proud of this flavor.

You can catch Rawdawg at Cahaba Brewing Company during the vegan festival today from 11-5. We ran over after church/before lunch, and now I’m ready to bake up some more deliciousness 😍💕

P.S. I also grabbed some strawberries because I’m itching to make strawberry galettes this week. 😍 YUM!!! 😋

Happy Saturday!! I had a great time at Helena Market Days today despite the not-so-perfect weather. I’m so thankful to everyone who came out! Great to see some old friends and meet some new ones! 😍
I will be back in Helena in June! 🙌🏻

Please bear with me as I get my schedule together. I know it’s probably been kind of confusing here lately and I’m so sorry for that!
We’ve had some family stuff come up (all good), and that combined with the changes thrust upon my business over the last month 🤪 has just kept some things up in the air. 😅
That said, I will only have two more markets this month, both at Vestavia Hills. Please feel free to place orders outside of those two markets! I should be able to meet up or make home deliveries as we navigate the next month. 🤣🙏🏻🙌🏻💕

Okay, friends!!! New location— I’m in HELENA today!! Helena market days is here rain or shine out by the Helena Amphitheater in Old Town. The creek is flowing beautifully because of the rain last night and we’d all love to see you! The market is until 12:00 PM rain or shine!

Today’s Friday bake day looks a bit different than usual.
I’m baking just a tiny amountt of bread for orders and a ton of bagels and croissants for market, and just praying all goes well in a new location. 🙏🏻🥐🥯 The newness feels strange but it has given me some time back in my week (at least for this week 🤣), which is something I really need/want. And I’m beyond thankful I get to be a part of Helena Market Days this summer.

I am curious, and hope you guys will answer below. I might ask again with a poll later, but…

Do you prefer…

1. Purchasing from me at markets
2. Placing orders for pick up/delivery
3. Either

Also, if I could do a delivery day (like delivery to your door), would that be preferable over shopping at markets?
Or if I had a pick up day, would you pick up in Mccalla?
