A minimum $50 retainer or 50% of the total for any cake order is required to reserve a date. This retainer is non-refundable and dates are not "saved" without a retainer. Rose Bakes cakes start at $4.50 per serving with a $75 minimum on all orders. For example, a cake for 30 peo

ple would be at least $135 plus taxes (possibly more depending on design). 7% MS Sales Tax is added to all orders. Rose's home is in McCall Creek, MS, and all cakes must be picked up at her home. She does not meet clients anywhere or deliver orders (other than wedding cakes). The only exception is when she offers popup sales and explicitly states that she'll be delivering in the local area. Located in McCall Creek, MS, Rose will deliver your wedding cake within 75 miles (for a delivery fee).

I am honored again to have made the cake for the Natchez Garden Club Magnolia Festival Ball 2025. This cake has been in the works for months, and I'm thrilled to have pulled it together for tonight's festivities!

This beauty is all real cake (except for the 2-inch spacer near the top). The flavors were Vanilla Bean Cake, Confetti Cake, Italian Cream Cake, and Lemon Cake. All finished with Vanilla Buttercream and Gold Fondant borders painted. The crest was hand-cut and painted/finished with edible gold. Three tiers were covered with edible 24K Gold Leaf.

It's no secret that I don't like or watch cartoons... so I've never seen Tangled (I know... 😱). But I do love the color purple (next to pink, it's the best), and this Tangled Wedding Cake sure was fun to make! It was a rare thing where I only communicated with the groom and he was so happy with the cake! I hope they had the most beautiful ceremony!!

I baked another black cake to share the recipe on the blog and now I have extra!! Who wants to try the Black Cocoa Cake (ZERO food coloring or dyes!). Black cocoa is what's used for OREO cookies, so this cake and frosting tastes more like an OREO than a chocolate cake. It's a unique flavor!!
