-Ordering information-
Cookies are priced at $30 per dozen for standard, 3” cookies. If you would like a quantity outside of a dozen, say for a cookie-gram for a friend or relative, or different size cookies, please contact me to get a personalized quote. A 50% deposit is requested to secure your date at time of order. If you are ordering one week or less in advance, the total amount of your invoice is due upon ordering. Please note that due to the time and attention put into each cookie, a minimum of one week advance notice is appreciated to ensure your order gets an equal amount of time and attention. I offer the convenience of accepting debit and credit card payments directly through Square. If you choose this form of payment, an invoice will be sent to you through Square via your email address. From there, you will be directed to make a secure payment online. Alternative forms of payment can be considered on a case by case basis.
-Delivery/Pick Up-
Deliveries are offered for an additional delivery fee of $15 for deliveries within a 15 mile radius of my home. Otherwise, orders can be picked up at my residence in Mayville, MI. Per Michigan Cottage Food Law, I am unable to ship cookies through the mail.
-Packaging-
Each cookie is individually wrapped and labeled as a measure of preserving freshness. The cookies are then packaged into a baker’s box. Cookies stay soft for at least one week. To preserve cookies for longer periods of time, they can be frozen but I cannot guarantee that the thawing process will not compromise the integrity of the design.
-About Me-
I honestly cannot remember exactly when I started baking, but know that it was in my youth that an interest in confection creation began to grow. By the time I was in my teens, I was often found in the kitchen baking up a batch of fresh French bread, chocolate chip cookies (I had that recipe memorized by the time my mom gave birth to my youngest sister, haha), oatmeal raisin cookies, muffins… you name it. My grandparents especially liked to have muffins with their breakfast so I would spend a day on a baking spree stocking their freezer from time to time. My grandpa said at one time that maybe I should open a bakery and call it “Mer’s Marvelous Muffins.” Looking back, perhaps that was a bit prophetic. At any rate, alliteration appears to run in the family ;)
So to wrap this up, here I am starting this adventure to share with you my love of baking and creativity. Thanks for your interest and growing with me in this new found journey! Meranda
