I realized (when everything felt soupy) that I mistakenly forgot the salt in the dough 🫠

A day off from my oven is a good day to support another’s.

We went to Bri’s Fresh Bakes for the first time in Sun Prairie - waited in a long line .. but it’s worth the trip and the wait ☺️

We love to eat beautifully crafted bakes around here 😅

The faces behind “New Day” just want to extend a huge thank you. Week after week there’s a ton of support for our products. As stated before, I don’t always get to post on busy mornings, but today we brought microgreens, sourdough bread, sourdough danishes, einkorn cookies and sourdough pizza crusts. To hear how fast some things go is always surprising and definitely appreciated. I try to bring more each week- right now I may be at capacity. I am looking at options to change that in the near future 😉

Again, thanks to those that made the trip out to Rubicon to shop- we hope to see everyone again next weekend!

Popped over to Colectivo to enjoy a coffee and brought along one of my sourdough blueberry danishes. Stopped mid bite to admire the gluten formation. Sourdough is so amazing 🙌🏻

Thanks to everyone that stopped out at Back to The Best Country Store today! Pizza crusts sold out, danishes sold out, einkorn cookies sold out and only a few sourdough loaves left. I’m always blown away by the amount of support each week. 🤎
With Easter being on Sunday, I wasn’t sure what the likelihood of selling out would be, but so many of you continue to surprise me.

I don’t always get to post on busy mornings with what’s available for the weekend. Sometimes it’s just best to pop by and take a look 😉
There are so many nourishing things you can find at the store!

Hope you all have a relaxing Easter weekend with those you love. I know I will be taking time to reflect on what Jesus did for us and enjoying my time with my husband and three girls. 🤍
If you’re traveling this weekend, I pray you get to and from your destination safely. If you’re having a big dinner with friends and (or) family, I pray that your meal is nourishing and warm & that your conversations are fruitful and enjoyable!
