Love when I get to do a fun dessert spread for one of my own. Graduation party table for my boys…college grad AND a high school grad. So proud of them! Mini apple, key lime and coconut pies plus tres leches and Mexican brownie shooters.

Hi, friends! If you’re new here, here’s a little about me and my baking gig.

I’m a wife of 20+ years to an amazing husband who supports me wholeheartedly and a mom to 3 absolute rockstar kids. I love Jesus, baking and CrossFit.

My baking journey began about 8 years ago when my dad was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. I wanted a way to support him from afar and to bring a little joy into a such heavy time.

BakingUpJoy was born.

What started as something personal slowly grew into this not so little side gig.

While I love the baking and the creativity in the process, the ultimate goal through all of this is to glorify God and be obedient with the gift He’s given me. This little business is so much more than baking to me—it’s purpose, it’s ministry, and it’s something I don’t take lightly.

If you’ve ever received a box from me with a “prayed over” sticker, just know it’s more than a label. It’s a quiet reminder of where this all began, of my dad, and of the purpose behind every single order.

So grateful you’re here and part of this story. Come on in and stay awhile.🤍

Honored to be a part of conference yesterday! We encountered hundreds of Jesus-seeking women and hopefully brought a little extra joy to their hearts (and bellies) through some sweet treats. As always, I have the best helpers…and some bonus bombers at the end.
