Making cakes or art in general can be an humbling experience. This cake in particular I remember putting together the flowers, it was getting late. Going to bed and deciding I was going to redo it in the morning, because I absolutely hated them. Walking up with fresh eyes my mind completely shifted, I didn’t change a thing then seeing it in the space it looked perfect.
Just a reminder to give yourself grace and space (and a nights rest)!
