Since Daniel's (aka The Cake Man) stroke last year, Our oldest son, Jonathan, has had to grow up pretty quick. He decided a few months ago that he wanted to invest in his future and start building a "Tiny House". A tiny house is a very small house, made to each individual person's needs, usually on a trailer, so it can be moved. He not only has been working side jobs at local farms to earn money to buy supplies, but has been working hard to reuse materials that others may have considered "trash". Can you imagine being LITERALLY states away from your friends, family & support system when you find yourself and your two precious girls living in shelters and struggling to survive!?! With the weather being so cold this is a wonderful project a friend of ours is doing providing warm fleece blankets for the homeless. If you can spare a few dollars, please consider this!!

An update on Daniel- he was admitted to the hospital Wednesday morning because he had a stroke at sometime early that morning. He stayed until Friday evening and was released to go home.
