📣 Long post alert 📣
As always, you have completely amazed us again 💚
Because of all of you, we sold 57 boxes of cookies, received donations and tips, and raised a total of $820 through our Mental Health Awareness Blessing Boxes.
The way this community continues to show up, support one another, and rally behind causes that matter is truly inspiring. This event was incredibly personal to us, and we cannot thank you enough for helping make it such a success.
What touched us most wasn't just the money raised. Throughout the day, people shared stories, messages, and memories with us about loved ones. We saw people taking bracelets and cards not only for themselves, but to pass along to someone who might need a little encouragement. We received heartfelt messages from those whose lives have been touched by mental health struggles and su***de, reminding us just how important these conversations are. One customer even left flowers, a simple act of kindness that meant more than words can express.
Because of your generosity, we are able to make a donation to B #4 Foundation (https://www.theb4foundation.org), a nonprofit organization founded by a family who tragically lost their son to su***de. Their mission is to bring hope, awareness, and support to those struggling with mental health challenges. One of the ways is by going to schools and speaking to the students about the importance of speaking up, asking for help, and knowing it’s okay to not be okay. In talking with Terry (Brady’s dad) he said that Brady struggled silently even though he supported friends who experienced anxiety and depression. A trait that Mandy and Ethan also had. Please consider visiting their page for more information.
This fundraiser was also especially meaningful because Ethan’s mom joined us in helping make the day possible. Ethan was another one of those amazing people who was always there for others, always willing to lend a hand, and always wanting to help those around him. We were honored to remember him and all of the lives he touched.
Mental health awareness was a cause that was very close to Mandy’s heart. She struggled with anxiety and depression herself, yet she was always one of the first people to show up when someone needed help. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved, and she never hesitated to offer kindness to those who were hurting.
Mandy wanted to change the world through kindness, compassion, and helping others. Ethan and Brady shared that same caring spirit. While their lives ended far too soon, their impact continues to live on through acts of kindness, compassion, and support for others.
Thank you for helping us keep their lights shining and for being a part of something so meaningful ✨💚✨
