Good morning! ☀️ Sorry for the lack of updates, it's been SO busy lately!
Between Football 🏈 Family 🧑🧑🧒🧒 & Vertigo 😵💫 I haven't been on here as much. I've had more interest in duck eggs. 🍳 Hence the lack of posts about availability & a huge thank you to those interested. 🫶🏻
I'd like to take a second to tell you about dirty eggs! 🥚 If you didn't know ducks LOVE mud. They don't mind laying eggs in mud and they choose some interesting places to make a nest that's for sure. 🪹
This bush is one of their favorites and when it rains they don't mind that it's gotten muddy. ☔️
I choose to not wash beforehand to keep the bloom intact which helps keep them fresh longer. Bloom is an extra layer of protection around the egg to keep bacteria out. 🦠
I love to let mother nature do her job, so that's why sometimes the eggs look how they do.
