Just a reminder and notice but we are closed on weekends. The only time i am open on weekend is if you have a prior approved appointment or a wedding that I am delivering to a venue then that is a given. But I am closed this weekend due to being Labor Day weekend and will be back on Tuesday. Sorry for the late notice and reminder.

So finally got the shelving figured out the pieces that was with it kept giving me fits so plan B make my own shelves, well I had Raoul Trahan make me some shelves to place in it!

So, then my problem became what should I put on the wood to protect it??? I am thinking the same wax as what I use on my cutting boards to make if food safe or even mineral oil on them. I will figure it all out later. I put temp adhesive on the light strips, and now for what it looks like currently. No need to be nasty about things it is currently stored in our garage under cover until today. Now I do have to rewash the windows and then wipe it all down again because well fingerprints, are a real pain when your constantly having to touch the glass to place the shelves. I also have to find some paint for the bottom of it, so i can cover the scratches so there is that.

I hate waiting!! lol OMG! So, the thing I done this past Tuesday August 25,2026 might I add I walked into said destination just as they were announcing over the radio station that one of the people at the desk was listening to the passing of Dolly Parton. I am not saying it is a bad omen, but fingers crossed it wasn't! however I went to the Clay County Health Dept to finish the needed paperwork and pay the 50-dollar fee that they require and now i wait for them to make sure I had everything required in place and I should hopefully hear by today but possibly not until next week the one week mark will be Tuesday September 1,2026 and I am just all kinds of fidgety over the waiting! They required I register a business name with them so, of course when the paperwork is finalized Sweetie's Treats Bakery will become my official on paperwork business name. Here's to the next chapter of finally getting this finished and starting to officially take orders with all the proper license's and paperwork filed.

Sooo I did a thing yesterday and now I hopefully don't have to wait very long for things to move forward! But until then I am curious how many people out there are interested in holiday trays ? What sort of goodies on said tray would you be interested in me offering? Comment below please!

Ok so I have had alot of questions about what I make and I just realized I have yet to post the list which i haven't found a way to open said file and I have no idea how to convert them to another type of file to even get them to open that there in lies my issue. the file was on the microsoft office a version that no longer recieves any type of support and it won't open in the new 360 version so any suggestions out there? I am trying to figure it out and only end up finding eveything i try isn't working a nd I am getting a tad bit frustrated with it . So yeah anyone with any type of suggestion on this the file is from Microsoft Works documents and nothing opens it anymore that I can find

Soooo, the following is an inspirational type of picture. It's not mine, in other word's it is a cake that is wanted for a birthday party that will be a smash up of Harry Potter and a Glow themed party. How hard is it going to be to combine both the Harry Potter theme and glow in the dark this will be fun!! Can't wait for this party to happen!!

So I will obviously have to make 3 or 4 times more dough than what this recipe made but still it tastes, absolutely yummy 😋🤤! I think I might have to sit down and rewrite the recipe as well as adjust the bake time just a little longer than it says I baked these for 25 minutes and the recipe, called for 7-12 minutes but it also only had two tablespoon sizes and the piece I used for the middle wasn't getting sealed so I added about another half tbsp worth to it and it was perfect. I did freeze the Hershey's caramel chocolate bar before using it and I think that help to keep it from melting out of the cookies. So that said they are weighing in at 9.2 Ozs and as you see they are huge .

Trying out a recipe for stuffed cookies! I am, currently waiting for these bad boys to sit and chill!! Always the fun part of any cookie is to sit and wait . Here in about 5 minutes, I will preheat the oven and get them in to bake 😁!! Fingers crossed these work !

So, I am just putting this out there I don't know how many others who do home baking that has been dealing with this, but with that said, here lately I have been getting alot of scam orders! These people will go to something, that I have recently posted. Sharing my work that I have done for other clients ones, that are actually serious about the orders they place, and are repeat customers.
Just recently not thinking about it i had a person order a dozen cupcakes and while that in and of itself is not unusual and it was just a dozen that means i still have a dozen more to sell of each flavor ordered. In this case it was a dozen total half white half chocolate. So I had a dozen and a half extra of each flavor and it just so happened I already had a larger order 3 full sheet cakes for the celebration of a Lutheran Pastor who was going to a new church. I verify every order the week before the person needs it, just to make sure they still need it or that nothing has changed like they need more or they have to cancel whatever the case maybe. Well it just so happened i did have the larger order so I asked hey if this ends up she doesn't show I will give these away would you be interested in cupcakes as well so she took them which saved me having to take them back and tossing them. So has anyone else out there had this happen? Scam orders and then they won't respond when you try to call their number or you try to message on FB or where ever to make contact ? I am beyond over that any suggestions on how to avoid this altogether?
