Wild Things Bakery will be at Reimagine in Mason City Saturday March 7th from 8–12

I’ll be taking preorders for anyone who wants to guarantee their favorite breads or treats — the menu will be posted below.

⚠️ Important note for this week:
This will NOT be a normal delivery week. All orders will be pickup only on Saturday at Reimagine. Or if my house is closer you can pick up from there. Message me if you are curious.

As always, everything I make is:
✨ Naturally fermented sourdough
✨ Easier to digest & gentler on blood sugar
✨ Full of flavor thanks to long fermentation
✨ Made with 100% organic flours in every recipe

This will be my last Reimagines before baby comes. I will try to do one more delivery day before my delivery day also.

It’s BAKE WEEK at Wild Things Bakery 🥖

Delivery schedule:
• Havana — Wednesday
• Mason City — Thursday

All breads and bakes are made using 100% organic flours 🌾

I’m also featuring Kamut sourdough — an ancient grain that’s naturally rich, buttery, and slightly sweet. Many people find it gentler on digestion and it’s packed with protein and minerals, making it both hearty and nourishing.

What’s the difference between sandwich loaves and regular sourdough?

Regular sourdough is crusty, airy, and rustic — perfect for toast and dipping.
Sandwich loaves are enriched with milk and butter, making them softer and sliceable.

This week is bake week at Wildthings Bakery!

I’ll be delivering:
• Havana on Wednesday
• Mason City on Thursday

I’ll also be passing through Greenview and Petersburg, so let me know if you’d like to be included from those areas.

All of my loaves are made with organic flours and naturally fermented sourdough. Long fermentation helps make sourdough easier to digest, supports gut health, and allows your body to better absorb nutrients. Using organic flours means fewer chemicals, better soil stewardship, and bread that’s closer to how it was traditionally made.

I’m also exploring a more eco-friendly packaging option. If anyone would be interested in a reusable bread bag with a small bag deposit, let me know. I’d love to reduce waste where I can ♻️

It’s my first bake week of the year 🎉
I’m also currently proofing a brand-new little human, arriving this April—so from here on out I’ll be baking every other week. (Turns out even sourdough isn’t as demanding as pregnancy.)

This week’s menu is linked below, and here are a few helpful definitions:

Inclusion loaves – My classic sourdough, just with extra goodies mixed in.

Sandwich loaves – Made with milk and butter for a softer, more slice-able loaf.

All flours – Always organic.
