FINALLY have a menu for tomorrow's Mason City Farmers Market! I have had a really hectic week, now this mama needs a new car 😔 and I wasn't sure what I was going to be able to get ready for Saturday. It will be an offering of "basics" but I think it's perfectly ok to keep things simple sometimes! I will make just as many muffins as I can, especially of the banana chocolate chip, since I know how much y'all love them! Market is rain or shine and I can't wait to see your wonderful faces tomorrow!!!

I would like to make a little PSA about supporting local bakers and growers! You won't find shards of metal, glass, salmonella, e.coli, etc... in/on our food! We work really hard to put out the very best for our customers and that's not because we have regulations to follow (which I actually do as a licensed baker), but we put out the very best because we love what we do and we do it with PRIDE. Please don't forget about us little people when you're wondering what is safe to eat during these super weird times we're living in!

I'll be back to Mason City Farmers Market in a week - August 29th!

PLEASE NOTE: This Saturday's market is moving INDOORS to the Southbridge Mall pavilion due to forecasted storms. Join us from 9 AM - Noon and enjoy nice, dry shopping! 😉

Mason City Farmers Market menu for SATURDAY!!! Please note that the location is changing to INSIDE the MALL PAVILION area due to the storm chances. The time is the same: 9 am - 12 pm! Since I debated with myself so much this week about if I was going to attend because of the ominous weather outlook, I am late to feed Florence (my sourdough starter) so my menu will be a bit more on the simplified side this time 🙂. Another wonderful morning at the Mason City Farmers Market! ☀️ We SOLD OUT again, and I am so very grateful. I appreciate every single interaction, every single purchase, and even the conversations that didn't end with a sale!

Market weeks might run me ragged, but I wouldn't change a single thing. This little home bakery has been a source of blessings I could never have imagined when I first began experimenting with sourdough.

When you support a (very) small business, you are doing so much more than just buying a loaf of bread, scones, or muffins... your support holds up a family.

I have been feeling that love in full force, and I cannot thank this community enough. 💚
