🌾 Here’s Clarissa. 🤍

She may just look like a jar of sourdough starter sitting on my counter, but around here, she’s a pretty important part of the family. 😂🥖

Clarissa has been with me through so many loaves, bagels, English muffins, pretzels, cinnamon rolls, and late-night baking sessions. She’s been fed, forgotten about, overfed, underfed, brought back to life, and probably stared at more times than I’d like to admit. 😂

She’s a little reminder of why I love sourdough so much. There’s something really special about taking something so simple (flour, water, time) and nurturing it into something that brings people together.

And honestly, without Clarissa, there would be no Crumb & Kindness. 🤍

So I thought she deserved her own little introduction. 😂

And yes… she’s currently got some friends in the background because apparently one starter is never enough when you’re running a tiny home bakery. 😅

I’m officially OPEN FOR ORDERS and will be taking orders through 10 PM tomorrow night (Wednesday)! After orders close, I’ll get everything baked fresh and ready for you to pick up at the Farm Stand this Saturday at 10 AM. 🫶🏼

This Saturday will be our regular Farm Stand day, with all your favorites — fresh sourdough bread, bagels, pretzels, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and more!

A little schedule update for September! 🥐🤎

September dates:
-9/5 Farmstand Day
-9/12 Cinnamon Roll Saturday
-9/19 Farmstand Day
-9/26 Cinnamon Roll Saturday

I’ve decided to switch Cinnamon Roll Sunday to Saturdays! Starting this month, Crumb & Kindness will be open every Saturday at 10 AM throughout the month of September. 🎉

This Saturday will be a regular Farmstand Day, which means you can expect all the good stuff — fresh sourdough bread, bagels, pretzels, cookies, and more! 🥖🥯🍪

I’ll be posting this week’s updated menu very soon, and once it’s posted, I’ll officially open up orders for Saturday! So keep an eye out 👀✨

Can’t believe it’s been over a year since I started Crumb & Kindness just out of a leap of faith and a bit of ambition. I’m so grateful for how this little home bakery has blessed us. I’m so grateful to meet people in my community and to serve some delicious baked goods still made with the same amount of love and gratitude as a year ago. Welcome to my new sourdough page where I plan to post my sales and hopefully take orders to meet your sourdough wants/needs!

My name is Payton Crider. I am a wife and SAHM with my 19 month old son Beau and another little babe on the way. As well as 3 bonus kiddos! 🙌

I started making sourdough in November of last year and I fell in love with it. I make sourdough bread almost every other day for my family. I love to make inclusion loaves and I also love trying other sourdough recipes as well.

I never thought I’d be starting a business page and selling my sourdough but I’m giddy and excited to try this out and hope you enjoy Crumb & Kindness! Each loaf will be made with love 🥹
