Putting the baking skills to use to bake my first cake in… 4 years?!?
We are coming up on a year of closing the business and although I will forever be grateful for that chapter of life and the people who made it possible, moments like these make me appreciate the time I have to slow down and follow little whims. I’m still not sure what I’m doing (and no, it’s definitely not a cake business ha!), but I am grateful for each day of growth and time spent with all of my loves.
It has been a challenging year for a multitude of reasons, some expected and some blindsiding, but I continue to feel so many moments of joy in my little community. Hug your folks and eat the cake!
