After some consideration… I’ve decided to let Cakes by Meredith take a break for a while.

I’ll honor what’s on my calendar and my hope is to be back by the holiday season… we will see. I hope y’all can understand. 🙏

Congrats to all of the Grads! I’ve loved being part of all of these celebrations… some of these kids I’ve known since they were little babies. What an exciting time. Spread your wings and fly and go do great things! Remember to call your parents ❤️🎓 .

🗓️A little calendar update!

Thanks for keeping me so busy! I apologize for those that have caught me in my icing covered clothes when I’m cutting it close getting orders into my pickup cooler 😆

🇺🇸 Also, would anyone be interested in 4th of July cookies or cookie kits?? That’s if I can get my act together, haha. I will be on vacation starting on 7/2, so they would need to be picked up before 7/1. But also travel well for those on the go.

It’s so funny how some weeks are cookie heavy and some weeks are cake heavy. 240 cookies later and now it’s time to bake some cakes for next weeks celebrations, lol.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience as I am so extremely busy this time of year. I am trying really hard to get back to everyone in a timely manner… but it’s just not happening right now. A family member reminded me the other day that I said this time last year that I was going to hire an assistant next grad season…. Well here we are again without an assistant. I’ll be taking applications for next year 😂

Also, here is an update on my schedule. If a date is open in June, that just means that I have a spot or two left open and it can fill any minute. It’s a wild time of year. I’m completely booked through the end of May, so I’m not including that.

As most of you know, I lost my husband last fall and in addition, I started a temporary job in February working at my son’s elementary school through the end of the school year (it was originally supposed to go until the end of April, lol) so I’m extra short on time this year. But I appreciate everyone sticking with me. I haven’t forgotten an order yet in 13 years 😂

Gluten free cookies for the grads!

I love being able to do these for MRHS so even kids with food allergies can participate in senior festivities.

They have gluten free sticker and we’re decorated in opposite schools colors so they don’t get mixed up GO MAVS! 🧡💙
