It was a rainy Spring day yesterday at The Loft at Walnut Hill, but I often hear that’s good luck for a marriage!

This sweet three-tier cake is comprised of all vanilla bean cake layers and accented with cascading blooms, courtesy of The Seedlings. With a little texture to the buttercream, this wedding dessert is simple yet so elegant!

✨ An update on Haley Dow Cake Co. ✨

I’m sure most of you have noticed I’ve been quieter lately. What started as a brief pause to recharge over the holidays has turned into a decision to temporarily close the kitchen.

Before I do that, however, I must express my deepest gratitude to all my amazing clients! I can’t thank you enough for your continued support and trust in Haley Dow Cake Co. It has been an incredible journey baking for you and your families, and I am truly thankful for the opportunity to bring joy to your special occasions with my desserts.

That said, there are some monumental challenges I’m experiencing regarding my health and wellbeing, and after much reflection, I’ve realized just how important it is to dedicate this time to care for myself.

I hope you all understand that this decision was not made lightly. Serving you all has always been a passion of mine. I want you to know that your support has meant the world to me, and I look forward to returning stronger and more inspired in the future.

In the meantime, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance in finding another baker - I have so many talented friends who equally deserve your support!

Thank you again for your understanding and for being a part of the Haley Dow Cake Co. family. Your kindness and loyalty have been a true gift to me.
