So much of what I do is personalized decorated cutouts. But my true love is what I call mixed plates. Many varieties, in smaller cookies, for parties and celebrations. It is a fun way to offer desserts that are smaller so guests can try more than one.
These trays were for the very special celebration of life I attended last week. I worked with the family on the varieties, and then personalized it a bit. The lady we were celebrating was a nationally celebrated bowler, so of course there had to be bowling balls. And she was known for her red velvet cake, made to celebrate every birthday, so I added red velvet cookies to the plates as well.
Mixed plates, or cookie tables with trays of each variety are a really fun addition to any celebration, from celebrations of life to birthdays and weddings. I actually did a sweets table for my son's high school graduation many years ago, with trays of his 13 different favorites.
