Good afternoon 🌞. I was set to have bread and eggs available this week; however, I won’t have anything available until 10/23. I have the bake for 10/23 up and open for ordering now with a new product….sourdough brownies 🤤. They are absolutely delicious and wonderfully fudgy. I was set to get this post up early this morning, however, in my sleepy state at 5 this morning, I put my phone down in the barn, and just located it. Sorry for the late post.

For those looking to order in the future/my returning customers, I have information regarding future bake days below. I guess a sort of post within a post type of thing. Thank you 😊!! Picture of one of my adventures over the past week.
It’s funny or maybe ironic how relatively easy it has become for me to create the more “cookie cutter”posts, seeing as I have had crippling social media anxiety for as long as I can remember. I’ve been attempting to try to break away from that lately, and add a little more of my actual self to my posts. But that anxiety is probably what is making writing this post so challenging for me. I really don’t know how to write this without be completely authentically vulnerable. So here it goes. I’ve been away the past week, and it’s really given me a lot of time to stop and reflect on exactly how I want to proceed with my life and my business. I’ve been mulling these ideas, so although not new, it is the first time I’ve received enough clarity to put them into words.
It probably will come as no surprise given my past posts that I’ve struggled with my health over the past year, and thankfully I’m getting answers to a lot of what’s been occurring, but it’s required me to really be honest about what my future needs to look like to be sustainable for my family, my farm, and myself. I think it’s so easy to get stuck trying to continue to make something work when life so clearly is pulling in another direction, especially when you’re standing directly in the middle of it. I’ve come to understand that not only is it okay, it’s beautiful. Life was never meant to be static. It’s fluid, requiring us to ebb and flow it. In that vein, I’ve decided to switch my focus away from baking taking up every square inch of available real estate in my head and my time. So I will still be offering baked goods, but it will be per my availability. I’m hopeful it will be most weeks, but on a much smaller scale. I will continue to offer eggs from my organically fed chickens and look forward to hopefully offering fresh vegetables grown from all organic plants/soil next summer. I am hopeful this will also allow me the creative space to add things like my sourdough brownies, and in the coming weeks you may notice other changes such as updating the names to my social media pages etc. to better reflect the direction I am going. Thank you to everyone who has purchased bread from me. It’s been such an honor making bread tor the community, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know many of you.
