MCBD encourages you to grab a drink and take a stroll through downtown Marshalltown to see what's new. Whether coffee is your jam, or you're craving a fizzy soda, a smoothie, or an agua fresca, downtown has something for you.

While you're out, stop by and take in the Tiny Art Walk, get some retail therapy at one of our boutiques, or rest and reflect in the Galleria Garden. Pop over to the Cartwright Farmer's Market too, running from 9 to 12. Downtown has something for everyone.

Tomorrow is Friday! We are trying something different. We won’t have cinnamon rolls but we will have 2 kinds of babka chocolate and cinnamon! They will go fast come in early and give them a try!

Day 2 and it's back to it's original green. We are so lucky to have someone as passionate about historic preservation and downtown revitalization in our community as building owner, Janelle Carter. This building has won awards and continues to impress residents and visitors alike.
