The idea for a cheesecake and cake combo first came about when I was a Senior in Pastry school. We had an event called Cakealicious where you had to design a 4 tier wedding cake along with a custom flavor. I went with a Strawberry cake 🍰 with layers of vanilla buttercream and sliced strawberries with a cheesecake layer in the middle. In my opinion, the best of both worlds!
This year we brought that idea to our Easter menu with our carrot cheesecake cake 🥕Two layers of carrot cake with a layer of cheesecake in the middle. All covered in our cream cheese icing and toasted coconut.
