Hi y’all! I’m still here, I promise! 😁 I had to put my baking on hold for awhile. Turns out working full-time and being a mom to an adorable tiny human takes up 110% of my time. For those reasons, I don’t intend to return to custom cake making in the near future. (So sad, I know. 😢) But, I DO plan to continue whipping up awesome desserts and sharing them with friends and family. So, while you sit there, salivating and waiting for me to post something delicious, here’s a throwback to one of my favorite cakes everrrr. 🍰

I LOVE s’mores (and chocolate in general) so this was the perfect treat to bring to a bbq. A seven year old kid devoured it in 30 seconds, so i think it was successful. 😋 The cupcake had a graham cracker crust, dense chocolate cake, homemade marshmallow frosting, a drizzle of chocolate and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs. WARNING: the marshmallow frosting will leave remnants on your face but that’s ok, just lick it off. 😋

Happy Easter everyone! 🐣I didn’t feel like making anything extravagant for just the husband and I, so I decided to try these Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars- a layer of cream cheese filling snuggled between two layers of crescent roll dough and finished with a crunchy, buttery cinnamon-sugary topping.
