Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to describe this post. ❤️
As many of you know, Honey in the Rock has been such a special part of my life. But after a lot of prayer and consideration, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to prioritize my health and step away from running the cottage.
The good news is that God opened a door for two incredibly sweet sisters to take it over, and it’s not going very far at all. 🏡✨
Over the past several months, many of you have commented on how wonderful the cottage smells when you walk through the doors. As a special gift, I created one final custom Pink Zebra blend for them called Sweet Cottage Memories 🫐🥧. My hope is that when you step into their space, you’ll be greeted by that same warm, comforting aroma that has become part of the Honey in the Rock experience.
I pray you’ll love and support them as much as you’ve loved and supported me over the years. They will be able to open more often, offer even more products, and continue serving this community in a beautiful way.
And don’t worry—my recipes aren’t going anywhere! They have taken on many of my recipes, and I’ll be helping mentor them along the way as they begin this exciting new chapter.
As for me, don’t worry—this isn’t goodbye! ❤️ While I’ll be stepping away from the cottage, I’ll still be continuing my Pink Zebra business from home. You’ll still be able to shop with me, grab your favorite scents, and support my small business just like you always have. The location may be changing, but my love for serving you certainly isn’t.
Out of respect for them, I’ll wait until they’re ready before making introductions and sharing all the exciting details. When that time comes, I’ll make a final announcement here so you can continue following the legacy of the cottage—just under a new name and with new owners to love and support.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for every purchase, every conversation, every share, every prayer, and every time you walked through my doors. You helped turn a dream into reality, and I will always be grateful.
This isn’t goodbye—it’s simply passing the baton to two wonderful ladies who I know will love this business as much as I have.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
