Flour restock, but keep it ✨LOCAL.✨

I went to to restock on fresh milled flour for the bakery yesterday. I drive a little over an hour to get to them for my flour pick ups. I love driving right to their farm to get the grain that they milled, from the wheat that they grew. There’s something really special about that. 🤍🌾

I have increased the amount of flour I typically get here because you guys have been loving the 100% Fresh Milled Sourdough Sandwich Loaves. I love to see y’all excited for local wheat like me! Thank you for doing what you do! So many people are being nourished through the work you do. 🌾

I am usually more excited for fall by this time of year. But this year feels different. I’m a little sad that camping season is almost over. I haven’t spent enough time in the high country this summer to be ready for fall! But I can tell you that I am STOKED for the return of pumpkin flavors! I love fall baking. I’m a sucker for pumpkin scones. And don’t even get me started on pumpkin sourdough. I’ll yap about my love for it all day.

So, as September is just around the corner, tell me; are you ready for fall flavors?? 🎃

I once saw another cottage baker refer to themselves as the village sourdough baker and I absolutely love that! I love this village. I love being a part of my community.
