The Back 40 Bakery & Farmstand is OPEN today from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM! 🌾🍞

With it starting to get dark earlier and earlier, I’m going to have to start looking into some lights for the farmstand! 😂💡

I’ll be honest with y’all… things have seemed to slow down a bit at the farmstand over the last couple of weeks, and I’ve been a little torn about how much to bake and make each week. I love keeping the stand stocked with goodies for everyone, but I also don’t want to end up with a bunch of leftovers. ❤️

Right now, I have ONE pan of banana bread left (and two Bananas Foster that I just need to make the topping for) I’ve been debating whether to make more today! 🍌🍞 If y’all are interested in more banana bread, let me know in the comments! If there’s enough interest, I’ll whip up another batch and have it out in a couple of hours!

Here’s what we have waiting for you today:

🎨 And last but certainly not least… my daughter’s paint-your-own plaster kits are available at the farmstand, too! She’s been working hard on her little business, and we’re so proud of her! 🥹❤️

💕 We've got a little entrepreneur in the making over here! 🎨🌻

My daughter recently came to me saying she wanted to find a way to make some money of her own, so we started brainstorming ideas together. That's when we came up with the idea of doing Paint Your Own Plaster Kits to sell at The Back 40 Bakery & Farmstand! 🥰

And y'all, this girl has been putting her heart into her little business! ❤️ With the help of her dad, she made every single plaster piece herself, and then she and I worked together to bring her vision to life! She picked out everything for her kits, chose the paint colors, and personally filled every single one of those tiny paint pots. She's been involved in making this little dream happen from start to finish, and I couldn't be prouder!

And we can't forget Memaw, who even chipped in to help cover some of the startup costs and get this little venture off the ground! 🥹💕 It really does take a village sometimes, and we're so grateful to have family cheering her on and helping her learn what it takes to turn an idea into something real.

There's something so special about watching your child come up with an idea, get excited about it, and be willing to put in the work to make it happen. She's learning about creativity, hard work, and what it means to build something of her own, and I love getting to be right there helping her along the way.

Hey y’all! ❤️ Sorry it’s taking me forever to get this posted today! Life is lifing, and we’re headed out of town for the weekend, but I did get some goodies out at the Farmstand before we hit the road!

Here’s what I put out today:
🍪 Brown butter chocolate chip cookies
🍞 Sourdough breads
🍌 Banana breads
🍫 Oreo cheesecake cones
🍎 Caramel apples with various toppings
🥨 Dubai dippers & pretzel bites

A little oops on my part! 😂 I forgot to put the dipping sauces out with the pretzel bites, and they’re currently riding with us all the way to Louisiana! 🤦‍♀️🤣

Tyler (my husband) stayed home for the weekend, so if there are any goodies left after today, he’ll get them put back out tomorrow! I’ll keep y’all updated on what’s available.

Today starts with one of the most important parts of my brown butter chocolate chip cookies: the brown butter. 🤎🍪

I'm not actually making the cookies today—I’m just getting my brown butter prepped and ready for later this week. That nutty, toasty, caramel-y flavor is SO worth the extra step.

Future me is going to be very happy I did this. 😂

A little afternoon restock in the cooler! 🍓❤️

I just put out some Strawberry Shortcake Rice Krispie Treats — the same ones y’all have loved before and then a few with a new take!

🍓 5 with buttercream frosting
🍓 3 with cheesecake topping

There are also just a few things left from yesterday’s lineup, so it’s definitely a smaller selection today. But if you’re craving something sweet, these are waiting for you in the cooler! 😍
