Somehow I went and grabbed a torta for lunch and ended up with this little cutie. We will go with Torta for its name. The teenage boy and his friends are all obsessed and so is the youngest.

Way back when in 2004 or so I worked with an amazing Vietnam Veteran. A medic to be exact, and as a 20 year old who was in nursing school, i loved hearing his stories. This man, Dick Lewis , is also an amazing woodworker. He’s made keychains, vases, pens and pencils, bowls and now this. I am honored that he and his daughter took the time to create this beautiful sign for markets. I can’t wait for to see the next few creations that I have in mind.

Travis Wooden has been a busy man!! Lots of lumber milled. Now it will dry for a few weeks and then it’ll be made into bookshelves. I’m kinda loving the live edge.

Today is the Marion NY Farmers Market. From 4-6 at the Town Park. Stop by, grab some goodies from us. Then you should definitely hit up Mya Papaya's, they have an amazing lineup of delicious looking drinks. Morgan’s Farm will have strawberries!! Looking forward to seeing everyone!!

When my husband first wanted this sawmill. I rolled my eyes so hard and annoyingly said sure. Well…I was wrong, don’t tell him I said so..! But in all seriousness, this was a well worth it investment. We have made garden boxes, a greenhouse, shelves,and even his sawmill shed. And now all these logs will be milled and made into bookshelves for PI Squared Books and Bakes, LLC. So thankful for my husband and our amazing arborist Josh Livingston's Tree and Landscaping for keeping us supplied in mulch and logs.

We don’t have bread today, however our starter decided to be get it together!! It’ll be a late night but we will have bread tomorrow on the stand and at the Marion NY Farmers Market.
We do have strawberry lemonade scones with our own strawberries. We have cookies including our newest flavor. Coffee cakes and apple crisp, along with cinnamon rolls!! So stop by 3325 Schilling rd and grab some goodies.
