Don’t forget about 3rd Thursday! đŸȘ🌆

We’ll be downtown today from 4:00–8:00 PM, and even if a little rain rolls through beforehand, it should leave us with cooler temperatures and a great evening to be outside.

But this month, we have something new


Our long-talked-about Specialty Sweet Rolls are finally making their entry-debut! 🎉

Think cinnamon roll—but then take it somewhere completely different.

We’ve taken that warm, soft, comforting experience you love and pushed it well beyond the traditional cinnamon roll. Our first two flavors?

Ever wonder what goes into the middle of our Velvety Coconut Cookie? đŸ„„đŸȘ

This one takes a little extra work—and that's exactly why the center turns out so good.

First, we prepare the creamy coconut filling and that extra coconut surprise. Then we chill it down to a firm 36°F before it ever meets the cookie dough.

Why?

Because we want the cookie to bake properly around the filling without everything melting out into the oven. The chilled center slowly warms as the cookie bakes, softening just enough to meld into the dough while keeping that incredible, velvety center.

And here's the best part: once the finished cookie cools, it's ready to enjoy immediately—or reheat later and still get that perfectly soft, decadent center.

As we continue testing our cinnamon roll dough, one question keeps coming up:

"Are you going to have a plain, traditional cinnamon roll?"

Well... yes. And no.

Yes, we'll have the traditional cinnamon roll.

But no, it won't be plain.
It won't be basic.
And it definitely won't be boring.

The aroma alone will stop you in your tracks. The look will tell you this isn't your average cinnamon roll. And one bite will remind you why classics become classics.

We're putting just as much time and attention into our Original Cinnamon Roll as we are our new sweet roll creations. Because if we're going to make a traditional cinnamon roll... it has to be the one you'll compare every other cinnamon roll to.

Our minds never stop baking.

Even though we're enjoying the flavors of summer, we're already dreaming about fall. Naturally, that led us to cinnamon rolls... and then we asked ourselves:

Why stop there?

What if we took everything we love about a classic cinnamon roll and turned it into an entire line of sweet rolls?

We're experimenting with our signature sourdough starter to create a made-from-scratch dough that's soft, rich, and full of flavor. Then comes the fun part—roasted pistachios, fresh peaches, Biscoff cookie butter, chocolate, fruit fillings, sweet-and-savory combinations... and just about every idea we can dream up.

Some experiments don't make the cut 👎. Some are pretty good 🙂.

And then there are the ones that make everyone in the test kitchen stop, smile, and say, "That's the one.😼😁" Those are the flavors you'll be seeing very soon.

 We’ve Expanded.

What started as The Cupcake Garden has grown far beyond cupcakes—and it was time for a name that could hold everything we’ve been creating.

So we’ve officially moved from the garden into the house.

Welcome to Crumlie’s Bake House.

Over the years, many of you have asked us to create more than cupcakes—cookies, specialty desserts, and unique baked treats for celebrations, gatherings, and life’s biggest moments. The creativity kept growing, and now our brand is growing with it.

You’ll start seeing new marketing and packaging over the coming weeks and months as we roll out branding that better reflects the full range of what we bake. But don’t worry—The Cupcake Garden will remain the cupcake brand you already know and love. It’s simply becoming part of something bigger.

Think of it this way:
All of our baking creativity now lives under one roof—Crumlie’s Bake House.
