Tonight was Celerity's last night racing. Or skipper Bruce Bilson decided to retire. For me it's been a great run, 16 years with a great guy. I look up to him for his sailing knowledge, I can only hope to come close to his skills! To add a little icing to the cake this week we finished first. What a way to Bruce and team Celerity to end the season and our time together!

Team Celerity and fans of Team Celerity,
Last night our skipper made a big announcement. If you were on the boat you know if not you do now... Bruce told us that this is his last season racing. He will more than likely be selling Celerity and hanging up he gloves. As you can guess this is a difficult decision for him. He has been sailing since (I believe) the early 70's. Next Wednesday will be his last Sunset Series race, with one weekend regatta to follow and then that's it. He will be having a wrap party at his place (I think he said the 9/18, I'll verify). Please hold notifying him directly and act surprised if he sends you a notice 😉 because I don't know how he wanted to do this.
