The Kakery at Stone House

Update: Been doing some deep cleaning inside. My good friend Tina of Busy Bee has offered her services as a blessing to help us get started!

Lots of outside changes happening as well! Outdoor tables are ordered. New sign is ordered and new gravel will be going down next week! You’re going to see some outside painting and landscape soon, as well.

Thankful for my family for helping make all of this dreaming I’ve been having… a reality!!! Couldn’t be doing this without any them!!

Unfortunately after multiple attempts and even contacting Facebook, we have been unable to change the name on this page. Even though I didn’t want to have to create a new page, it’s seems it was all I could do.

If you’re interested in following our journey, we would be so grateful if you would please go and like/ follow our new page!

Thank you so much for your help and understanding! ♥️-The Ottino’s

Hi, Kayla Ottino, here….

This is HOPEFULLY the post you have all been waiting for! ☺️

I know I have left you all seemingly hanging for a while now. There was a promise of a late Apirl soft opening that just didn’t come to pass. Please allow me to apologize to you all for that!

Long story NOT so short… right after we made the decision to start The Kakery at Stonehouse, I got sick. Then, I got even sicker. I’m talking couldn’t get out of the bed, sick. Multiple appointments and test later, I would come to find out, I was in the middle of an MS flair up and well, this reality was life changing. I wasn’t even aware until that point that I had MS but, the diagnosis did make A LOT of things make more sense. To be honest, I even considered walking away from this altogether.

If you’re still reading, I want to let you all know that, I realized I had entirely too many people who believed in me to stop now. I could feel it in my soul that the Lord didn’t get me this far to let me down now. He is faithful and his timing is perfect so, I’m choosing to believe the delay was needed for whatever reason. I’ve been fighting my entire life, I plan to fight the progression of this diease, just at the same.

All of this being said. I’m ready to pick back up, where I left off. We need a little time to get everything where it needs to be and up and running but, I promise to update you all, along the way! I’m crossing ALL my fingers and ALL my toes for an end of May opening. Would you cross yours too?

Thank you all for your patience! We can’t wait to serve this community! ❤️

God led us on a magnificent journey when we became a part of the Slater-Marietta community and opened Stone House BBQ.
Keep your eyes open for Kayla as she begins her journey in Marietta's iconic stone house. We are so excited for her and our community!
