Holiday Cake pops 🎄

Here's a Pokemon birthday cake for a special boy. The cake and frosting are cookies and cream. There were a ridiculous number of Oreos ground up into that cake and the icing! I covered the cake in fondant and emulated Pokemon font for the lettering.
I made this cake for niece's wedding. The cake is a vanilla buttermilk cake with a fresh strawberry and cream cheese filling. The icing is buttercream. We used her grandma's topper that her mother used as well. What a lovely tradition :)
Chocolate covered strawberries! Always a hit!
Hummingbird Cake! I had never heard of a hummingbird cake 2 years ago, but now theses are one of my favorites. The cake is a three layer pineapple, banana spice cake with cream cheese frosting. So yummy!
Happy Easter!! I haven't posted in a while because I am expecting baby number 2! This is going to be an eventful summer!
Happy National Chocolate Cake Day! Celebrate by going out and getting yourself a slice!
I made the top and bottom tiers of this wedding cake in red velvet cake and the middle tier is vanilla buttermilk. I used cream cheese frosting throughout and made the fondant bow topper from a fondant/gumpaste blend.
Halloween Hello Kitty Birthday Cake! I made this for a little girl that couldn't decide between a Hello Kitty theme or a Halloween theme for her birthday. So, I suggested that we combine the themes!
Halloween Cake Pops! I love October! There are so many fun Halloween themed treats to make! Here are some Jack O' Lantern, Ghost, and Skull Cake Pops.
Spa Day Cake Pops! I made these pops out of chocolate fudge cake and peanut butter frosting and topped them off with sprinkles and fondant accents. These spa ladies are ready for some relaxation from the towels on their heads to the cucumber slices over their eyes!
Pirate Cup Cakes for the little boy with a pirate themed birthday party. These are vanilla with buttercream icing.
Ahoy Matey! Here's a pirate ship cake I made for a little boy's birthday party. The cake is vanilla with buttercream icing.
More Monkey Pops! I made these monkeys a little differently than the ones I made last month. I like the overall look better and the ears were much more secure. I also cut out the need for peanut butter morsels which can be a plus or a minus depending on who you ask!
Vanilla Cake Pops with Sprinkles! These cake pops are for a baby shower. I made the colors coordinate with the rest of the baby shower theme. I really had to plan the spacing to fit 60 pops in that basket!
Cinderella Cake. I made this cake for a little girl's birthday party. Since I used an actual Cinderella doll instead of a half doll pick, I had to make another cake so her feet had somepace to go! The dress is vanilla buttermilk cake and the base cake is chocolate fudge cake. The little pumpkin is fondant.
Double Chocolate Mousse! This is my all time favorite dessert! I've been making this since I was 12 and saw it in a Hershey's cookbook. I've tweaked the recipe over the years and now use Ghirardelli chocolate instead of Hershey's for a delicious, rich, and ultra smooth flavor. The crust is made of ladyfingers which compliments the chocolate nicely.
Space Shuttle Cake! I made this cake for a little boy that's into realistic space shuttles. I referenced NASA photos to get the proportions and coloration. The cake is vanilla buttermilk with buttercream frosting. The little stars are fondant accents.
Monkey Cake for my little monkey! My son had his birthday party at Monkey Joe's over the weekend, so I made him a monkey cake. The cake is a hazelnut spice cake with chocolate hazelnut icing. I covered the cake in fondant and made the accents from fondant as well. Unfortunately, I was using a new camera with temperamental settings and this is the best shot I have of the cake. I was originally going to make one monkey, but my son insisted that there be 3: a daddy, a mommy, and a baby to make a family. How could I refuse!
Monkey Cake Pops! My son turned 4 over the weekend and had his birthday party at Monkey Joe's. It seemed fitting to make monkey cake pops for the occasion. I used peanut butter morsels for the first time and they were really tasty!
With a "Moo Moo" here, "Cluck, Cluck" there! Cow and Chicken Cake Pops for a little girl's theme party!
Chocolates, Cake Pops, and Brownies
I made this wedding cake in alternating layers of vanilla buttermilk cake and chocolate fudge cake. The frosting is buttercream and the cake is covered with fondant. The bride picked out the ribbon borders to coordinate with her wedding colors. The flowers are fresh roses.
Time to roll the fondant! I'm working on a three tiered wedding cake. Pictures to come tomorrow!
Backpack! Backpack! I made this Dora Backpack and Map cake for a friend's daughter's birthday party. The cake is chocolate fudge and the frosting is white chocolate buttermilk. Map and the accents are fondant. What a fun theme and what a fun party!
Graduation Cake Pops! I made these is three different flavors: chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. I also made three different colors of graduation caps and multiple looks for a variety of school children.
I made this Sesame Street cake for a little girl's 1st birthday party. The cake is butter cake with buttercream frosting and the little presents are fondant.
Sesame Street Cake Pops! These are so fun they make me smile. I made these for a little girl's Sesame Street themed birthday party.
