We are at the Chipley Farmer's Market today with a new pound cake -- Peaches and Dreams. I bought some of Hansa's peaches and they were so delicious and sweet that I knew I HAD to bake something with them.

Meet the brownie that understood the assignment: The Caramel Stuffed Sea Salt Brownie. It's fudgy. It's gooey. It's two layers of brownie sandwiching a thick layer of buttery, homemade caramel. Looking for something to do on a Friday night? Come on down to Madison Street Park in Marianna on Friday June 13th to see all the wonderful dogs available for adoption and Movies With Mutts. "All Dogs Go To Heaven " will begin at sunset. Bring a blanket or a chair, and enjoy an evening under the stars with local vendors, food trucks, raffles and prizes, and snacks and refreshments all available to purchase. I will be there selling a variety of homemade, all natural dog treats. Rescue To The Max is the largest animal shelter in Jackson County. The event is free to all. If you are looking for a dog to love, please consider a rescue dog!

In addition to the Ben & Jerry's flavors this month, we have some special cookies for Dad.

First up is the Peanut Butter Bomb. One of my dad's favorite cookies was a peanut butter cookie. He didn't get them very often , because the rest of us all liked chocolate chip. This one is a peanut butter cookie with peanut butter chips and chopped peanuts, stuffed with peanut butter buttercream, with a peanut butter drizzle. This one is for you dad. I wish I had made you more peanut butter cookies.

Dad's Brownie is a dark chocolate cookie with chopped raspberry dark chocolate and chopped brownies, stuffed with cheesecake, and topped with melted milk chocolate and a heart.

The Man Cave is a chocolate chip and buttered popcorn cookie stuffed with chocolate buttercream and topped with melted milk chocolate and buttered popcorn.

Finally, The Snaccident combines the best of all cookies. It's a peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip and M&M cookie stuffed with a mini Snickers bar. Did I leave anything out?

Looking for a preview of some of June's flavors? I don't know about you, but when I think of summer, I think of ice cream. You might know that I grew up way up north, so when I think of premium ice cream, I think of Ben & Jerry's. Fun fact-- Ben and Jerry opened their first ice cream shop in an old gas station in Burlington, Vermont. We often made the trip down to Burlington just to get a cone. If you're ever up there, definitely stop in at their original ice cream factory, where you can take a tour, visit the graveyard of discontinued flavors, and of course, eat samples! For June, I've taken some of their best-selling flavors and turned them into stuffed cookies.

1. Phish Food -- for those of you old enough to remember the band Phish -- another fun fact -- they are from Burlington -- you will appreciate this one. The Phish Food cookie is a chocolate chocolate chip and marshmallow cookie stuffed with whipped chocolate ganache, marshmallow, and caramel, and topped with a marshmallow glaze and of course, a chocolate fish.

2. Ube Macadamia -- Ube is a purple sweet potato originally from the Phillipines, with a natural sweet and nutty flavor. This cookie is an ube white chocolate chip macadamia, stuffed with ube ganache and topped with a white chocolate glaze, chopped macadamias, and coconut.

3. Chunky Monkey -- a banana chocolate chip walnut cookie stuffed with banana ganache, with chocolate and banana glaze and chopped walnuts.

4. Cherry Garcia -- named for the front man of The Grateful Dead, and composed of cherry and chocolate, two of his favorite flavors. The Cherry Garcia is a cherry chocolate chip cookie, stuffed with cherry ganache and topped with chocolate glaze and a dried cherry.

5. Half Baked -- a chocolate chip and double chocolate cookie, stuffed with vanilla and chocolate ganache, crumbled pecan brownies, and Chips Ahoy cookie bits, and topped with chocolate glaze.

All cookies, over 1/4 pound of deliciousness, are 5$. Stop by the Chipley Farmer's market on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 10- 2 or on Saturdays from 8-12 to pick up your treats, or call 850-394- 4087 to order.

It was a beautiful day today at Cottondale Christmas Festival, so grateful for the opportunity to meet such wonderful people! Congratulations to Dawn on winning the Christmas Tree Pull-apart cake, and Merry Christmas to all!
