Most of you probably don’t know I have stomach problems with multiple foods I’m not “supposed” to be eating (impossible when you are a baker 🙈). So you KNOW I’ve already had multiple of these bad boys! ⠀

So surprise your loved ones with these cuties for Valentine’s Day this year! I know it’s been a longggg time since I’ve been able to eat a sugar cookie guilt free and stomach ache free 🙈 (minimum order half dozen for Valentine’s Day bundle only. All other cookie orders will be minimum one dozen)

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout the years! My little bakery has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember! From making pumpkin pies as a kid with my grandma for Thanksgiving and sugar cookies to decorate for Santa with my entire family each year. All the way to creating this page just over a year ago and doing so much more than I ever thought I would be able too! 💞⠀

My dad gave me my “Christmas presents” yesterday (thanks Black Friday deals and a dad who doesn’t like to wait to give gifts), which was some new cast iron skillets! Had to break them in properly just in time for Thanksgiving dessert😋 ⠀

I have been feeling guilty lately because I have not been baking much. Life has been crazy with changes and I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed. But today, on Thanksgiving it reminds me to slow down and be grateful right where I am. ⠀

I’ve slowed down on taking orders so if I am not able to bake for you I am so so sorry. If I could, I would be baking everyday for you guys! Maybe one day I will but for now, I am enjoying the process. ⠀

Smash cakes are definitely one of my favorite events to bake for! Getting pictures back of the cuties covered in cake and smiling from ear to ear because of the sugar high is just the CUTEST thing ever!! ⠀

So funny story about this cake.. the night I baked this cake I realized I was out of piping bags. No big deal - I ran to the store first thing in the morning to pick some up. I got home, unloaded my groceries and started decorating this smash cake. Well I somehow managed to lose my piping bags somewhere between the cart and my house 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ So I was left to decorate this cake with ziplock sandwich bags 😂 ⠀

Still had a blast decorating this and super happy with how it turned out! Probably my favorite smash cake I’ve made so far! ⠀

Chocolate salted caramel stack 😍 ⠀

Four 6-inch chocolate cake layers with salted caramel buttercream and salted caramel drizzle in between 🤤 ⠀
⠀
All cakes get leveled, stacked and “crumb coated” before the pretty decorations and buttercream go on. The crumb coat is a thin layer of buttercream (in this case, salted caramel - the same that the cake is filled with) covering the cake. I then place the cake in the freezer for at least 10-15 minutes until the frosting is firm to the touch. This locks in all of the crumbs from the cake so when I put the final layer of buttercream there is no chance of cake crumbs ruining the perfect layer of buttercream 😌 ⠀

Happy October everyone 😍 October is definitely one of my favorite months and this year it is extra special! I head to Nashville this weekend for my sisters bachelorette party, my nieces first birthday is this month and my sisters wedding is November 1st so LOTS of things going on for me! ⠀

Some of my sisters bridal shower treats 😍 The only instructions I had was the theme which was “Falling in Love”. ⠀
⠀
I honestly had no idea what I was going to do until I started baking the day before. I had all of the fall colors sitting in front of me and as soon as I smelled that pumpkin spice I got this flower patch idea. It is SO much fun to sometimes just let the ideas flow and try new things as they come (even if that means staying up until 3AM and getting up at 6AM the next morning to finish). I am so glad I did because honestly, this is my favorite order to-date! ⠀

Feeling super motivated today after getting some much needed rest yesterday! Woke up to a beautiful day and started off my morning with a great podcast on my way into work. It’s amazing what a difference your morning routine can make on your day! I’ve started to wake up earlier, get some sort of exercise (usually taking the pup on a walk 🐶) and listen to a positive and motivating podcast on my commute to work🙌🏻⠀

I hope everyone had an amazing three day weekend! My weekend consisted of a wedding order, Ellensburg rodeo, horseback riding, bridal shower planning and ended with a much needed lake day 😌 ⠀

We definitely PACKED this weekend full and I am so happy we did! Having a full time “day job” and also this side gig of baking, my time-off is very limited so I love getting in all of the fun things whenever I can! ⠀
