Houston Cake Fam, it's great to be back! 🙌🙌 The past year has been a whirlwind, thanks to our new little bundle of joy. Although my hands have been full (3 kids, anyone?), I've been itching to get back to creating sweet treats for you all. Happy new year everyone! I hope your year is off to a great start. I am still taking orders for the next few months. I will, however, be on a break from social media for the next month. Don’t despise the days of small beginnings. My first wedding cake was nearly 5 years ago! Boy, I didn’t know what I was getting into back then. That cake taught me many lessons, and if I’m being honest, I was not happy at all with the outcome (thankfully the friends I made it for were very understanding as I made it as a gift for them).
Fast forward to last weekend and I made another wedding cake! This one I can say turned out how I had envisioned. It was a 4 tiered cake with cascading fresh roses and stenciling on each tier. The cake was a challenge for its mere size and weight 💪
If I had let my first wedding cake dictate my success, I would have given up back then! However, I’ve kept going. Honing my skills and improving my craft. Nothing in life comes easy. I’m thankful for those who have taken a leap of faith with me and supported me in this endeavor! Thank you to all my clients and future customers. I’m so grateful for these opportunities to keep growing. Never give up!

The graduation celebration for Brionna Grapeson! The event space was decorated in rose gold hues and the cake was made to match. The flavor was pistachio chocolate chip with a delicious Mexican vanilla Swiss buttercream. did a great job coordinating such a beautiful event!

Tea parties are all the rage! This adorable cake was the perfect additional to a quaint baby shower. Flavor was red velvet with a cream cheese Swiss meringue buttercream.
