🍂 WHO’S READY FOR FALL?! 🍂

Because over here at Mawmaw’s Apron, I may already be dreaming about crisp mornings, cozy kitchens, pumpkins on the counter…and ALLLL the fall baking. 🎃🤎

There’s just something about this time of year that makes me want to pull out the cinnamon, warm up the oven and fill the kitchen with all those cozy smells we love. 🥰

And can we talk about a sourdough loaf shaped like a PUMPKIN?! 😍🍞 I mean…come on.

I showed you the outside… but I’ve been saving the BEST part for last. 👀🍓❤️

Remember that beautiful beach cake?

Wellllll… THIS is what was hiding inside! 😍🍰

My new Signature Strawberry Cake made its debut for a very special birthday, and after seeing that first slice, I think this one has officially earned a permanent place in the Mawmaw’s Apron recipe book. 🥹❤️

Soft, moist strawberry cake with little pockets of homemade strawberry goodness baked right in… layered with creamy buttercream and a generous layer of homemade strawberry compote. 🍓

That first cut into a brand-new recipe is always a hold-your-breath moment—and THIS was exactly what I was hoping to see. ❤️

I think we have ourselves a keeper. 🍓🎂

Sometimes the sweetest cakes are the ones made for the people we love most. ❤️

This little beach getaway was made especially for my Dad’s birthday! 🏖️☀️🌴

And here’s the part you’d NEVER guess from the outside… 🍓

Under all those ocean waves, sandy beaches and tiny vacation details is my newest Mawmaw’s Apron Signature Strawberry Cake — made completely from scratch with real strawberry flavor and a little strawberry compote baked right into the cake. 🍓❤️

I had so much fun bringing this little beach scene to life, right down to the lounge chairs, umbrella, seashells, starfish and even the tiny seagull. 🥹

There’s just something extra special about getting to use what I love to celebrate someone I love.

❤️ I’M BACK… and goodness, it feels good to be in my kitchen again! ❤️

A little time away to rest, recharge, celebrate, and make some memories was exactly what I needed…but there’s just something about coming home and getting my hands back into flour, buttercream, and dough. 🥰

And I may have jumped right back in with both feet! 😂

A special Gluten-Free Cookies & Cream Cake 🎳🍪 alongside fresh-baked Gluten-Free Artisan Sandwich Loaves and a few other Mawmaw’s Apron goodies made for the perfect welcome back to my kitchen.

My heart is full, my apron is back on, and the kitchen is smelling like home again. ❤️

Next week, Mawmaw’s Apron will be taking a short break while Keith and I celebrate our birthdays with a little beach getaway. 🏖️❤️

That means THIS WEEK is your last chance to order before we close for one week!

✨ Orders will close early this week — Wednesday at 8:00 PM (instead of our usual Thursday deadline) so I have enough time to prepare everything before we leave.

Whether you’re craving fresh sourdough, gluten-free favorites, homemade pasta, cinnamon rolls, cookies, or a custom treat, I’d love to bake for you before vacation!

Some orders are just a little extra special. ❤️

This month, my sweet aunt came into town for a visit and had one request…

Brown Sugar Cinnamon Sourdough Pop-Tarts.

Of course I couldn’t say no.

Made completely from scratch using my sourdough starter, Maxine (the real star behind the scenes 🥰), each one is filled with buttery brown sugar and cinnamon, baked until perfectly golden, and finished with a warm cinnamon glaze.

There is something so special about baking for the people you love. Food has a way of bringing everyone around the table, slowing life down for just a little while, and creating memories that last much longer than the last bite.
