It’s hard to believe I’m saying this, but summer is drawing to a close. Back to school and activities, crisp and cooler weather. BUT at Hometown Bakery we aren’t letting go just yet. We’ve put together the lemon and raspberry filled ribbon cake for one last time this year.
$5 a slice. Pick up yours before it gone.

The day got away from me, so this is a late night notice for sure!
Yes! On Wednesday August 26 there will be Wacky Wednesday. Last one of the season!
Kids of all ages are invited to come in and decorate cupcakes any old wacky way they want.
$4 a cupcake.
We will remain set up until 5.
Come on in!

The results are in! Thank you to everyone who helped me decide which of my goodies my customers like best! While an overwhelming number responded with “everything,” some of the baked
goods stood out from the rest.
Whoopie pies popped up with regularity, as well as carrot cake, lemon bars, peanut butter balls and any kind of cupcake.
This would be a sample of the products most recommended by customers.
So now I know what to answer when asked what I would recommend!
As far as the random drawing goes, with respondents both local and out of state, the winner, drawn by a random customer, is my neighbor in the shop next door, Peter Clark.

I haven’t had a random drawing in a while! Here’s how it goes. I ask a question, you answer the question. I draw a name from all who respond. The winner gets a $20 gift card.
