The good news: bread baked up gorgeous today ♥️

The bad news: I forgot to turn the oven down 🫣 there is a bit of dark on the bottoms of some loaves. Not horrible. Just 👎 for finally a good bread baking day.

BUT

You will be thinking of me 🫶

With the plummeting humidity I did some test baking today. Needless to say, the Fall Bread for the rest of the season will be a dream for the next week 🤤

My oh my oh my!!!

The Bellville Farmers' Market has some fun new surprises!!!

Listen, I love baking bread but this humidity has been terrible for getting these gluten free flours to properly rise and bake. You need to remove the steam after so many minutes or it will collapse. Guess what I can't remove 🤪

Sooo needless to say, I'm pivoting.
