Thank you to the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade chorus members that kicked off our Hillside Music holiday concert week this evening! So much talent and joy on the stage! Thank you to Jacob Morese, Chorus Director - Grade 5 and Rob St Cyr, Chorus Director - Grades 6-8. Special thanks to Jed Rosen, who joined us playing bass.

Next up is Hillside Orchestra (Wednesday at 6 p.m. ) and Band (Thursday at 6 p.m. ) concerts! Don't miss them! This will get you in the holiday spirit!

There is an opportunity to help decorate McAllister Hall this afternoon, 11/25 at 3 p.m. You can also sign up to donate waters and baked goods that will be on sale at concerts. Or, you can sign up to sit at the welcome table during the concerts.

Reminder! PIE PICKUP

Tomorrow, Wednesday 11/13 is our pie and cookie dough pickup date:

Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 2:35 - 5:30 p.m. in the Hillside Cafe.

Pull up between the wheel chair ramp and the 5th Grade modular building and enter the cafe to claim your order. We will have help to assist loading large orders into your vehicle. A copy of your original order form will be attached to assist in your distribution efforts. Once you receive your order, continue driving around the backside of Hillside and exit via the western drive onto Reservoir Ave.

Reminder: Pie/cookie dough order forms are due tomorrow, Thursday, October 10 by 2:20 p.m. Students may hand them to their ensemble director. Late forms are accepted, however, it makes processing the orders more difficult with 200+ entries to input manually. Remember, online orders may continue up to Friday, October 18. Currently, we have raised a little over half of our total goal, but we still have time to meet the mark with one week left.

ORDER PICK UP DATE: Wednesday, November 13 from 2:35 - 5:30 p.m. Hillside Middle School Cafe. More details to come.

This is just a reminder that the Hillside Music Department is having their popular Pie Fundraiser again this year! It is a perfect time to get pies and cookie dough frozen that you can have on hand for the holidays. The event has other items that can be ordered and shipped direct to homes anywhere in the country.

Your student should have brought home a large envelope with the hard copy order form. The form also contains a link or QR code that allows you to make an online store that you can easily share with friends and family on social media or through text/email.

Paper order forms are due October 10. Online orders are open until October 18.

HAMS will be reaching out soon with a sign up genius to organize volunteers to sort orders for families to pick up on Oct. 13. Stay tuned!
