I have been gluten-free for nearly three years, and whenever I get a GF order the first thought that comes to mind is, “my people!” 😄

My “mom heart” and my “baker’s heart” both went into this early morning dozen - ordered by a mother in Germany for her 15 year old son, an exchange student here in Maine. We developed a great “mom-to-mom” rapport over email and I am so excited to drop these off for her son, who she tangibly misses on his birthday.

Isn’t it funny how being a mom is the great equalizer across every language?

Orders like these - where the human connection is so important - are the best part of my job.

I am happy to offer Sweet Annie’s cupcakes again at Lakeside Orchards in Manchester, at least one Saturday per month, beginning next Saturday, February 10th, at 9 am.

(Nothin’ fancy about the displays or packaging to keep the price point nice and trim.) 😊

Good morning and greetings from wind- and rain-swept Maine!

Monday was a challenge for the books, but I was able to steel myself to get all six deliveries made in the morning. (Man, though. It was scary out there. I don’t think I’ll be doing that again.)

I have also been able to keep up with your holiday orders thanks to our generator (best investment ever), so as of now, it is business as usual here at Sweet Annie’s, and no pick up days or times have changed.
