You may notice something missing when you drive by the theater… like the whole marquee!!! Do not worry!! It will be back, it had to be moved to fix some structural issues and we need to shorten it due to rusted supports! It will look the same when it returns except shorter and digital side panels and a fresh coat of paint!

🍁 Fall Leaf Pick-Up Schedule 🍁

Fall leaf pick-up will begin on Monday, October 19.

Please refer to the map for your section and scheduled pick-up dates.

Section 1, Mondays: October 19, 26 and November 2, 9, 16

Section 2, Tuesdays: October 20, 27 and November 3, 10, 17

Section 3, Wednesdays: October 21, 28 and November 4, 18

🍂 The City will be closed Wednesday, November 11 for Veterans Day. Section 3 leaf pick-up will take place Friday, November 13 instead.

Section 4, Thursdays: October 22, 29 and November 5, 12, 19

Leaves may be placed in the street 48 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up day.

Those in violation of the 48-hour rule may be fined.

Leaves must be in the street before 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled day.

Rake leaves into windrows on the street, 2 feet away from the curb line.

Vehicles must not be parked within 50 feet of windrows.

No bags or containers. Leaves only.

This pick-up is for leaves only. Sticks, twigs, brush, or garden debris must be taken to the compost site.

Crews may work ahead of schedule.

Las hojas pueden colocarse en la calle hasta 48 horas antes de su día programado de recolección.

Quienes no cumplan con la regla de las 48 horas pueden recibir una multa.

Las hojas deben estar en la calle antes de las 7:00 a. m. el día programado de recolección.

Rastrille las hojas formando hileras en la calle, a 2 pies de distancia de la línea del bordillo.

Los vehículos no deben estacionarse a menos de 50 pies de las hileras de hojas.

No se permiten bolsas ni recipientes. Solo hojas.

Esta recolección es únicamente para hojas. Los palos, ramas pequeñas, maleza o residuos del jardín deben llevarse al sitio de compostaje.

Las cuadrillas pueden trabajar adelantándose al calendario programado.

These types of emails can look very legitimate and may use official-looking language or information to appear trustworthy.

We encourage all residents and businesses to use caution when receiving emails requesting payment.

✅ If you receive an email claiming to be from the City and are unsure whether it's legitimate, please contact City Hall directly at 563-927-3636 to verify the request before making any payment.

The Manchester Public Library is hosting its next Afterschool STEAM program on Wednesday, October 21 from 2–3 p.m.

Kids will learn how the Moon interacts with the Earth, then use Oreo cookies to create the eight phases of the Moon. And yes, they get to eat their lunar creations afterward. 😋

This program is designed best for kids ages 6–11.

La Biblioteca Pública de Manchester tendrá su próximo programa STEAM después de clases el miércoles 21 de octubre, de 2 a 3 p. m.
