🍪 My Go-To Sugar Cookie Recipe 🍪
Since I’m stepping away from making custom cookies, I wanted to share my favorite recipe with you all! This is the recipe I’ve used for so many of your special occasions—it’s simple, delicious, and perfect for decorating.
✨ No-Chill, No-Spread Sugar Cookies
Ingredients:
• 2 sticks softened butter
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• Flavorings: I use vanilla + cake batter flavor (but you can use your favorites!)
• 4 cups flour (added in two parts)
Instructions:
1. Cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.
2. Add eggs and flavorings, mixing until just combined.
3. Add 2 cups of flour and mix, then add the remaining 2 cups. Dough should be a soft, play-dough-like consistency.
4. Roll out, cut into shapes, and bake!
Baking times:
• Soft cookies: 9–10 minutes
• Crisp cookies: 10–12 minutes
(Oven temps & pans can vary, so keep an eye on them!)
