It’s Women in Business Month, and we couldn’t think of a sweeter way to kick things off. 🧁🩵

Meet Amal Kawar, owner of Sweet Zen Bakery in Malvern. What started as a dream more than 20 years ago grew from a rented kitchen and wholesale business into the bakery Amal had always envisioned. Today, she and her team are bringing that dream to life, one sweet treat at a time.

Amal’s story is just one of the many that make our local business community so special. Throughout Women in Business Month, we’re putting the spotlight on incredible women who have turned their passions into businesses, created opportunities, and made an impact in the communities we call home.

Here’s to celebrating their stories, supporting local, and cheering on what they build next. 🩵
