It’s the first day of Spring! Hooray! It’s also my favorite Mother in Law’s 75th birthday today. The fam is headed on our 6 hour trek to Lander, Wy with this hummingbird cake for a surprise celebration for one of the most amazing, hardworking humans on the planet! Wish this tall cake luck as it travels 300 miles with 3 kids and a tight deadline.

One of my favorite things about my life is that I get to paint for people to bless them. I was asked to paint during the Pocatello Women’s Connection on St Patrick’s Day. Wanda Lehmkuhl (pictured below with me) gave a talk on how the artist of her life has always been Jesus as he takes his brush to get her back in the lines of serving him and others.

We decided to give Wanda this painting of Jesus holding her throughout all the challenges of her life. This is a great illustration for all of us about how much he cares for each one of his children.
