One of the reasons we started this venture is that we are effected by food allergies and we are very passionate about food allergy education and research. Knowledge is power and can help keep people safe. Trying to find a Nut free baked good is hard enough. Add in a gluten free nut free baked good, that tastes good - now that's like trying to find a purple unicorn! And so our story began. Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Our Story....

Food allergies are not just a trend for us, they are life. I have been baking ever since i was knee high, standing on a kitchen stool “helping”. I truly love baking. When our son had an anaphylaxis reaction to his first known exposure of a half a cashew, baking became more than a hobby. Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, donuts, ice cream....Most commercial baked good and desserts became off limits. The allergy labels are increasing to limit things like english muffins, bread, frozen pizza. For our family, we make it all. When someone very close to us became diagnosed with a gluten allergy - we again modified our ways so that she was not feeling left out ( because that sucks!). I started dabbling in Gluten free baking. Do you know how difficult it can be to find products that are both Gluten free and Tree Nut Free? So now here we are at A Little Confection.

Our goal is to create tasty, allergy friendly treats for a reasonable cost using only the best ingredients. We adhere to very strick kitchen and food storage practices. We use dedicated equipment for all of our baking. We are not certified gluten free. All of our products contain or may contain eggs, dairy and sunflour seed.

Our current offerings are cookies (chocolate chip, NoNut Butter, NoNut Butter Chip and Double Chocolate Chip) and Corn Muffins. We will be adding additional products in the future.

We hope to be around local farmers markets in the near future. Hope to see you soon!!
