I’ve recently started doing my classic artisan sourdough in a loaf pan instead of the traditional round (boule) or oval (batard) shape. Doing them in a loaf pan helps to make easier and more uniform slicing, in my experience. Ingredients in an artisan loaf are just flour, water and salt.
These are different than the “Soft Sourdough Sandwich” loaves - which are made with added ingredients to make the texture and taste a bit closer to store bought sandwich bread.
Orders are open on my site- right now just for artisan and soft sandwich style loaves (no cinnamon rolls or others right now). Choose your own pickup date with at least 3 days lead time (automatically built into the site) - orders can be picked up at Legacy Nutrition or (by request) my home in Magnolia Ridge.
