I'm a Cottage Law Licensed home baker, and I homemake beautiful and tasty standard and custom macarons for weddings, birthdays, events, and more! I'm Alex, a multi-tasking mom of two, devoted spouse, runner, business owner and baking aficionado. For the past decade, I’ve been whipping up macarons for my family, friends, birthday parties, baby showers and more. As of April of 2024 I decided to take

Okay I know it’s already hot as HECK outside, but I’ve been excited to introduce this flavor since last October, and have just now gotten around to doing so. Here’s why I love it-

The backstory of this flavor:
In Oct 2025, my family and I went to the Grand Canyon, and on the way back, we stopped to eat at a delicious restaurant called Amigo Cafe in Kayenta, AZ. I ordered the Red Chili Chai Latte- a little skeptical, but excited, and Y’ALL. It was the best chai latte I’ve ever had. Been chasing that flavor ever since. Really, if any of you make it out that way, make it a point to go OUT of your way to try that restaurant and chai. So anyway, I tried my best to make it in macaron-form!

The details:
•cayenne & Mexican chili powder browned butter buttercream filling, surrounding honey-chili center, encased in chili chai-sprinkled shells

Father’s Day is coming up!

This delicious bundle of 6 macarons includes 2 MAPLE BACON PECAN, 2 REESE’S, and 2 BOURBON, all decorated and packaged in a beautiful box for the amazing father or father figure in your life!

•Maple Bacon Pecan: maple Swiss meringue buttercream filling surrounding a bacon and pecan maple glaze, with shell drizzled with maple sugar, pecan and bacon bits 🥓

•Reese’s: Peanut butter buttercream filling surrounding crunchy peanut butter cream core, all dipped in milk chocolate (not tempered myself like I’ve tried in the past 😅, so these will stay pretty) 🥜

•Bourbon: Jack Daniel’s whiskey bourbon buttercream filling, with shell swiped with elegant gold luster ✨

I’ll be gone for two weeks from after 6/13, so I wanted to go ahead and bring back the summer flavor Peach early, but was stressed because I didn’t feel like bringing back other summer flavors just yet. Then I remembered I’m my own boss, and I can DO WHATEVER THE HECK I WANT (jk). So, here’s just Peach because I love it, and then I’ll bring other summer flavors later. Also bringing a new flavor (Red Chili Chai) that I’ll post pictures of this week that I’m super excited about!!

First time making SHAPED nut-free macarons. I’ve made nut-free many times, but when this customer asked for nut-free shaped like cats, I was worried it wouldn’t work well. They worked wonderfully! She wanted to surprise her wife with macarons that look like their own cute kitties for her birthday, and I’m so happy to help make that happen! I used the second and third photo as the hand-drawn inspiration (and made sure I included the lil TNR clipped ear on the Siamese cat 💛).

It’s neat using my craft to be a teeny blip in people’s special moments 🥰

When I’m not baking macarons, wrangling my kids, or rewatching Bob’s Burgers with my husband, I’m likely running with cool friends and family. Running has been a big part of my life for years now, and trail running is especially the best 😄. Happy Global Running Day!
