I’ve added something new for those of you who love the cheese but could do without the spice!

As popular as my Cheddar Jalapeño Boule may be I know not everyone loves the heat. So my new Cheddar Cheese Sourdough Boule leaves the jalapeños out but is stilled filled with cheesy goodness and made with love for my favorite community!

Porch pick-up is available for this Thursday, 10/22.

Orders will close at the end of the day Tuesday so don’t delay!

One of my neighbors is a local realtor who loves ordering my sourdough chocolate chip cookies as client gifts! Nothing like welcoming someone to their new home with homemade goodies from a small and local baker. That’s what it’s all about!

If you’re looking for a unique way to say “welcome home” I’m always happy to get a batch of cookies in the oven for you!

A couple of months ago I started testing some treats that brought back all the feels from my younger years and I’ve decided it’s time to start sharing them with you too!

These goodies are a little different from my usual sourdough offerings because they do not contain sourdough but they still have that same great taste you know and love!

First up is one of my personal favorites… OATMEAL CREAM PIES!

Soft, chewy oatmeal cookies with a sweet, creamy filling. A classic treat that takes you right back to childhood!

I’m so excited to start sharing these sweet treats with you and to bring a little taste of the good ole days to Neighborhood Bakehouse. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Cinnamon Raisin Sourdough Bagels are officially here!

One of my favorite things about having this little bakery is when you send me a custom request. Sometimes you ask for something I’ve never made before and sometimes that custom request turns into a new staple on the menu!

That’s exactly what happened with these bagels.

Soft, chewy, perfectly cinnamon-y and packed with raisins! That’s just a few reasons they have quickly become a favorite around here and I’m so excited to officially share them with you.

So keep those custom requests coming! You never know when your idea might become the next Neighborhood Bakehouse favorite!

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about just how grateful I am for all of you.

When you choose Neighborhood Bakehouse you’re not just buying a loaf of bread. You are supporting a homeschool mom of four busy boys who is building something small in the middle of a very full and beautiful season of life.

Because of our schedule farmers markets, pop-ups and extra events just aren’t realistic for me right now. But you choosing to make me your neighborhood bread lady allows me to keep doing something I truly love - baking, creating, and sharing good food with my community! And I get to do all of that while still being present for my family and the things God has called me to in this season.

And that means more to me than you probably realize.

I started Neighborhood Bakehouse knowing it would never be just about the bread and that has only become more true with time. It has become about connection. Community. Serving others. Meeting neighbors. The conversations on the porch. The familiar names on my order list. The people who started as customers and have become part of the little community that makes this all so special.

Every order supports more than my little bakery. It supports a mom who gets to pursue something she loves while keeping her family at the center of it all.

So, truly, thank you. Thank you for choosing me, encouraging me, sharing my posts, telling your friends, ordering a loaf and allowing me to be your bread lady.

It’s never been just about the bread and I hope you know how much you are a part of the reason why.

Okay, friends… would seasonal gift wrapping be something you’d be interested in?

I wrapped up a boule today on a whim and it turned out so cute! It got me thinking this could be such a fun little add-on for the seasons especially when you want to gift a loaf to someone but want it to feel extra special.

Would you love having this option available for holidays, birthdays, hostess gifts, etc.?

If you haven’t tried my sourdough English muffins yet… WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!

They’re soft, chewy and SO much better than anything you’ll find at the store. Once you’ve had homemade sourdough English muffins… there’s really no going back.
