My first pumpkin-shaped sourdough boule of the season!

After a big order week and so much sweet feedback and encouragement Im feeling extra thankful!

Thankful for this little business, thankful for the opportunity to bake for my community and most of all, thankful for each of YOU who continues to support Neighborhood Bakehouse.

I KNOW IT’S AUGUST… BUT HEAR ME OUT.

It may be 95° and steamy here in Alabama but that’s not going to stop me from bringing out ALL the pumpkin flavors.

Because let’s be honest… it’s never too early for pumpkin season.

Think cozy fall flavors, warm spices, real ingredients and all those nostalgic pumpkin treats you love - made the Neighborhood Bakehouse way.

So while we may still be sweating through August, I’m over here dreaming of crunchy leaves, cozy mornings, and PUMPKIN EVERYTHING.

I thought it was time to give my “Other Sweet Treats” menu a little love… so I’ve been in the kitchen working on perfecting a few nostalgic favorites. 👀

The treats you know and love but made with whole, real ingredients you can feel good about. Because sometimes you just want that nostalgic sweet treat—without all the stuff you can’t pronounce. 🫶🏼

One of my favorite things on the menu is the Giving Loaf. 🤍

When you place your order, you can add a FREE Original Boule to your order with one purpose… to bless someone else.

Maybe it’s a family welcoming a new baby, a friend walking through a difficult season, a neighbor who could use a little encouragement or someone God has simply placed on your heart.

There are no strings attached and I’ll never share who gives or who receives a loaf. It’s simply a small way to spread kindness one loaf at a time.

At Neighborhood Bakehouse it’s about so much more than bread. It’s about loving our community and reminding people they are seen, cared for and not alone.

Summer is here and I’m excited to share what’s coming up!

🥖 June 25 — Pop-Up Porch Pick-Up
Orders close Tuesday 6/23 at 8 PM!

🥖July 2 — Monthly Porch Pick-Up
Orders close Tuesday 6/30 at 8 PM!

🍋 July 11 — Annual St. Jude Lemonade Stand
This is such a special event! Each year I have the privilege of donating baked goods to this fundraiser that supports St. Jude. I love getting to use something I’m passionate about (baking) to help support such a meaningful cause. More details coming soon!

Hi friends!

Sorry for the recent silence around here! Between baseball season and homeschooling, life has been wonderfully full and busy.

I’m excited to get back into the kitchen and bake for you all again! Thank you so much for your continued support and for allowing me to do something I truly love. 🫶🏼

I’ll be opening a porch pick-up day on Thursday, June 11. If you’d like to place an order, please have it submitted by the end of the day Tuesday, June 9.

I can’t wait to fill your homes with fresh bread again and am so grateful for each and every order. Thank you for supporting this little bakery!
