Have you been to Golden Hour at Huntsville Botanical Gardens?

I went with my youngest daughter and her two littles this past Friday. We had not been to HBG in quite a while and were disappointed that some things we remembered were no longer there: No more hammocks. The turtles have been moved from the butterfly enclosure to outside ponds. The kids play area that my kids played on is gone. Oh and we only saw a couple of butterflies as it wasn’t their active time when we were there. 🦋

But the littles ended up having fun going through the mazes and jumping on the tiles. Simple joys. 🌻

If you want to check it out, Golden Hour is on select Friday nights from May through September from 5 pm - 8 pm. It is FREE to attend and they have live music. 🙂

Say hello to a couple friends I met in Florida. 😎

I am back from a long weekend that included one night in Tallahassee, one night in Venice, and one night in Orlando. I road tripped with our youngest son to get him settled at UCF for a summer internship. We also made a side trip to Venice to see my father-in-law. I flew home yesterday afternoon and will be working my accounting job the next two days and then Thursday is pop up prep day! 🙂

✨ I’ll have 🍊 Orange Pecan Oat Bites, Buttercream Decorated Sugar Cookies and several flavors of cookie sandwiches. ✨

Oh, the first picture is a Snowy Egret on the Venice Fishing Pier and the second one is a Sandhill Crane outside my son’s apartment in Orlando. 🙂

For the next pop up I’ll be making ORANGE Pecan Oat Bites by request. (I’ve made the lemon ones for the last few pop ups.) 🍊

There will also be cookie sandwiches (multiple flavors) and buttercream decorated sugar cookies. 😋
