Scott and I on Springer Mountain at the start of the AT. See you in 6ish months!

Just kidding. I have dreamed about thru hiking the Appalachian Trail for so long, but truth is, I’m not that interested in tent camping for 6 months. 😬

I’d love to section hike parts of it, but for now I was so happy to finally at least set foot on it. 🥾

We are staying at the Amicalola Falls State Park in Georgia and hiked the AT approach trail and then the first quarter of a mile of the actual AT. Oh and on the way back we had a bear encounter. 😳

I’ll be making FIVE flavors of my cookie sandwiches for the next pop up at Madison Hospital on May 8th, and you’ll also be able to preorder for Mother’s Day, with pick up at the pop up or at my home in Madison. 🌸
