After we had birthday cake she said "Mama, I thought this was going to be a cake MADE of jello." I guess expectations were not met 😆.

Summer birthday series: Cake #2!

Our son's original design consisted of multiple sea creatures and fish on top of a German Chocolate Cake. 🐠🐟🦈 He misplaced the picture, didn't want to draw a new one AND we couldn't find any sort of fish decorations during our most recent trip. Turns out when you try to shop for birthday decorations the day before the party..it rarely works out! 🫠 He had a lightsaver bubble wand on top that lights up green (didn't get a picture of that either 🫣)and a lego style number 8.

Also to add: baking a cake in a camper oven is roughly the equivalent to baking in an 'Easy Bake' oven. 😂😭

This is the beginning of our children summer birthday series! 😂🥰

My daughter, Aurora, is SIX today and she had a specific instructions about her high hopes for a birthday cake this year.

I know I did okay because her face lit up last night and was so happy that I tried to replicate her original design. We love you Aurora, happy Happy birthday sweet girl!

Two more summer birthdays coming up, so stay tuned for more attempted replicas 😂.
