Hey y'all,

It saddens me to announce this. As many of you know baking is something I love to do and I love being a part of everyone's special day; however, starting a new job and trying to balance my husband's new job, my son's therapies and home life has been very difficult to say the least. With that being said, Sweets by Mikayla will be temporarily closed until further notice.

I do apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Thank you everyone that has supported me until this point. It truly has meant the world to me. I'll try and do little sales here and there if anyone would be interested in that.

Hello everyone!!

Effective immediately I will be limiting the amount of orders to 1-2 orders/ week depending on the size. As many of you know I am a licensed nurse that had to leave the field due to no childcare for my son. I had been trying since January of this year to find a position that worked with my son's schedule and that would allow me to be home with him while my hubby is at work. I went on an interview this past week and was hired on the spot!

Now with that being said my sweets business will remain open. I will be taking limited orders until I get use to my new schedule ❤️ I have noticed a drop in followers which I completely understand but I need to do this for my family.

Hey y'all,

I just wanted to hop on and see how y'all have been doing. I wanted to apologize for being so absent the last 2 weeks and slow to respond to messages. My hubby and I are going through a hardship right now, amongst some personal battles. Anyways, Long story short our phones were shut off for 2 days and we were barely able to fix it.

Full transparency, I am not sure what the future is going to hold as far as Sweets by Mikayla . It's been extremely hard just to keep my supplies in stock which is also why I haven't had a bake sale. It has truly been a rough few weeks.

Thank you all for your support! I will keep y'all informed on the business. For now I will be taking minimal orders. Thank you for understanding 💜
